1. Who we are
Tawifin is a composable digital banking and fintech platform built and owned by Wyra Technologies Pty Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of South Africa with its principal place of business in Gauteng. Wyra Technologies is the responsible party (data controller) for personal information processed through the Tawifin marketing website (this website).
2. The information we collect
We collect only the personal information you choose to provide to us, or that is automatically collected through standard web technologies, including:
- Contact details you submit via our forms — name, work email, phone, organisation, role and the contents of your message
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited
- Cookie and analytics data, where you have consented (see Section 6)
3. How we use your information
We process personal information for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry, demo request, partnership or consultation request

We process your personal information based on your consent (where given), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request, our legitimate business interests (where these are not overridden by your rights), and our obligations under applicable law.

We may share information with carefully selected service providers (for example, email infrastructure or hosting providers) who process information on our behalf under written agreements. Where any sharing involves cross-border transfer, we apply the safeguards required by POPIA.

This website uses a minimal set of cookies and local storage entries to remember your preferences (such as whether you have dismissed the cookie notice). We do not deploy advertising or third-party tracking cookies by default. Where we later add analytics tooling, we will request your consent on first visit and update this policy accordingly.

We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Enquiry data is typically retained for up to 36 months unless a longer period is required.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet is, however, 100% secure.
9. Your rights under POPIA
Subject to applicable conditions, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of inaccurate information
- Object to the processing of your personal information
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa
